I've been there too.
My name is Mar, and I am a Certified Health Coach now. In the early stages of my wellness journey, I was confused, just as you probably are right now. I can't forget about the hardship when assessing the sea of confusing health advice and unreliable information and still unsure of what to believe.
But the good news is?
After having been through all of those things and having learned a great deal myself, I now want to turn the tables and help you, too.
I am passionate about health and wellness, and I believe in making health and wellness accessible and available to everyone through my blog, Holistic Health Trail.
In my blogs, I simplify the fitness concepts through tips that can be understood by beginners, are straightforward, and designed to meet the needs of beginners who start a fitness journey.
Remember, it’s okay to be a beginner.

A long time ago, my own health story started with weight problems, as I struggled with weight fluctuations. I used to ask myself endless questions and seek advice from different materials concerning how the human body gains weight.
Let me tell you, it's not as simple as “eat too many calories, gain weight.” No, no, no. I really wanted to know what goes on inside our bodies when we put those extra kilos.
Eventually, I became a Certified Health Coach from The Institute for Integrative Nutrition, and that’s when things really started clicking for me and I gained a comprehensive understanding. I spent a lot of time studying nutrition and mental well-being, and it all ties together so well.
The name 'Holistic Health Trail' indicates a journey or path that leads to complete well-being and health.
'Holistic health' refers to the pursuit of optimal wellness that takes into account the entire person — mind, body, and spirit.
Here, the term 'trail' means guided and purposeful exploration, implying a structured path toward better health and balance.
I like the name because I feel like it represents a destination that addresses various aspects of health together in a comprehensive and interconnected way.
In short, I write on my blog Holistic Health Trail as a certified health coach for beginner-friendly fitness tips and insights; assisting people to attain total wellness by dealing with their mind, body, and spirit.
